2008 Recap

Okay. So I've been meaning to write.. And I finally have a chance.

2008 was a pretty busy & great year. I have to say I really can't complain about anything.

January: I honestly can't remember that far. But I'm sure it was great!

February: Brandon & I both celebrated our birthdays.

March: hmmm... I celebrated St. Patrick's day at Bennigan's. That's about all.

April: my nephew, Preston, turned 3!! He's such a big boy now!!

May: my baby brother, Aaron, graduated high school!! I got to fly down for his graduation!! What an achievement!! I think we're the first family on my mom's side to have all kids graduate!! haha!! Brandon & I also celebrated our 1 year of being happily married & took a little weekend getaway to Colorado!! It was a lot of fun!! On a sad note, May marked the 2 year anniversary of Mom's passing. :(

June: nothing cool really happens in June.

July: our newest addition to our family was born on July 29. Super cool baby boy, Maddox Lee.

August: I flew to Louisiana to meet my newest nephew. I have to say we have some cute babies in our family!!

September: Brandon & I moved into a house. I hate moving & packing & unpacking. But I like having a bigger living space. I definitely like my turquoise bathroom & our cool little apple tree & grapevines in our back yard.

October: Dad & Carmen came to visit for the annual Balloon Fiesta. Even though, most of the balloon activities were cancelled due to bad weather, we still had a lot of fun.

November: Thanksgiving was spent at a friend's from church. The day after Thanksgiving was quite eventful. Brandon & I found out we are expecting a little one!! I cried & Brandon freaked out!! haha!!

December: This month went by pretty fast. It was a busy busy month!! Brandon & I went to the South for Christmas. We spent the first half of the week with my family & the 2nd half. We also welcomed a new addition to our little family. Dharma, our new St. Bernard puppy!

well, that's about it. it was a great year! God truly blessed us in each & every way. I'm pretty pumped to see what 2009 holds!!

Hopefully, I'll be able to write more, especially with all the baby stuff!! :)
