surprise.. surprise.

brandon & i were surprised in january to find out we are expecting our second baby in late september. 

i went for my first appt this morning & the baby measured at 8 wks, 4 days (per my LMP, i am 8 wks, 1 day along).. and the baby has a strong heartbeat at 175 bpm.  and everything looked great & perfect!  my due date is somewhere around september 25-28.  

brandon took the news a lot better than i did when we found out.  last time, it was the other way around.  heehee!  i'm happy about the baby, don't get me wrong... but i had always envisioned having a little more time with fox before a second baby came along, but God knows what he's doing, right?!.. plus, fox is still not weaned & it kinda put that pressure on trying to wean him as soon as possible (he's 18.5 months old).  and he's definitely not ready to give it up!  

i have been pretty sick with this pregnancy so far.  i don't have much nausea, but i vomit a lot.. almost every day.  it just comes whenever it wants.  i only remember throwing up once with fox.  i'm not really sleepy, but then again, i've been taking naps almost daily.  so maybe i'm just well rested.  ha!  i've lost my appetite for a lot of the foods i've once loved (i pray they come back to me).. and it's so hard for me to drink water, right now.  with fox, i could easily drink over 120 oz. of water a day.. and now, i'm really lucky if i can drink 20 oz.  so i've been trying really hard to stay hydrated.

but anyways, yay for another blessing!  i'm excited to finally share the news with everyone!
