My Favorite Song

easy peasy.  my favorite song is "because you loved me" by celine dion.  i loooove celine dion &  i just love the lyrics.  and it speaks to me on so many levels.  i'm sure you've heard it.

i remember this song when i was much younger.  it was one of the earliest music videos that i saw (& remember) & just loved it.  i remember watching it on the television with my mom in our "yellow" house.  and the song has always stuck with me.

i know the song has to do with a man & a woman.. some of the lyrics hold true with my relationship with my husband.  he has been there with me through my hardest times & good times in life.  and i am so forever thankful for him.. for his love.  but this song also speaks truth to me regarding my mom.  one of the main reasons why i love this song is because i remember seeing this video with my mom.  and she loved celine dion.  i love celine dion.  and i love my mom.  and it's just a special memory of us.  but i think some of those words pertained to my mom, as well.  she was my best friend, my shopping buddy, partner in crime, my first love, my everything.  i have been blessed with an amazing family.  i love this song for its double meaning.
