i love giving God thanks. God is just so good.
41) thankful for cold weather foods: i know this sounds silly, but i love eating soups, stews, chili. and who wants to eat soup on a hot summer day?! i mean, i have. but it takes even better when it's cold outside! heehee! you can savor the flavor & warmth of your meal even more!
42) thankful for daddy's touch: i don't know why it's so hard to put fox down for a nap without nursing him, but daddy knows how to do it! fox is such a momma's boy! tuesday, i had to work really late & brandon had to put fox down for the night. fox crawled up in brandon's lap when he was tired & fell asleep & brandon laid him in his crib. that would never happen if i was home! i have to nurse him for like 45 minutes! heehee! but i am so thankful for daddy's special touch!
43) thankful for God's saving grace: i love seeing God work in the lives of others... especially, new Christians. and i love seeing their hunger & desire to learn more about him! it's so inspiring. and it's an encouragement to me because even though, i have been a "Christian" for a long time, i want it to be like when I first became one.. that hunger, yearning & burning desire to know more about God.
44) thankful for my job: i am just blessed to be working for a great company. and i love the people i work with, especially cathy. i love our chats & just being able to have someone to talk to other than my husband. and in some ways, we a lot a like.
45) thankful for time spent with family: my in-laws were in this past weekend & we just had a great time. i love being with family & wish we could see each other more often.
47) thankful for parks: i've been taking fox to the park the past few days after picking him up from day care. he usually takes a nap right after school & i usually nurse him for it, but i am trying to cut out a feeding session somewhere! so it's been a great way to take his mind off of the nap/nursing. and he has such a blast swinging & walking around & meeting other toddlers!
48) thankful for a day off: i worked a double shift on tuesday & opted to have wednesday off. i had a nice "relaxing" day that consisted of doing all laundry (even putting it away), watching regis & kelly & the view, then working out on the elliptical machine while watching glee, eating pizza which completely eliminated the workout! ha!, laying in bed surfing on the internet, the park with fox & a yummy dinner of turkey vegetable soup, rice & sweet cornbread!
49) thankful for my sweet husband: we're planning on going to new york in december & i am wanting a new wardrobe for our trip. so i have had this whole outfit picked out for a couple of months. but the thing is i can't just go out & purchase all of it because i want to be sure i have money for bills. know what i mean?! so i am working my way up. my hubby said for me to go to target to get the dress... well, our target doesn't have it.. so i went home & ordered it online.. but while out browsing, i found a super cute sweater from old navy.. and it was $20 (reg. $45). and i begged bribed brandon & got the okay to go buy it. well, while checking out, the sweater came up for $10! sweeeeeet! i considered buying another one in a different color, but didn't want to push my luck! heehee!
50) thankful for skype: we have had a blast skyping brandon's family (my dad needs to get internet!) on a weekly basis. and it's a great way for fox to see his nonnie, pops, aunt kaci & meemaw! i think he's just now realizing what is going on & who they are on the screen! it's been a lot of fun!

thankful on a thursday
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Loved reading your "thankful list." Sounds like you are a gal that has her priorities in order, how inspiring!
Skype is the greatest! Wish we had had such when our children were small so they could have shared more with their Grandparents that lived 1000 miles away.
Blessings to you!
thank you, lea! for your sweet & encouraging words! ;-)
